What ceiling cloth hangers actually are
Overhead, Out of the Way.
A ceiling cloth hanger is a set of parallel rods suspended from a ceiling bracket and raised or lowered as a unit on a rope-and-pulley mechanism, with a cleat on the wall to lock the height. It uses the vertical space between head height and the ceiling — the one part of a small balcony that is otherwise doing nothing.
Sreshta installs pulley-operated ceiling cloth hangers on balconies and in utility areas where floor space is tight but the laundry still has to dry. The rods mount to the slab and sit above head height; a rope-and-pulley run drops them to waist height for loading and lifts them back out of the way. Six or eight stainless steel rods, in 4ft, 6ft or 8ft, depending on your ceiling width and how much you dry at once.

Ceiling Cloth Hangers That Give the Balcony Floor Back
Sreshta fits ceiling cloth hangers — pulley-operated drying racks in six or eight stainless steel rods at 4ft, 6ft or 8ft, mounted to the slab so the rods sit above head height and drop to waist height on a rope. On a compact apartment balcony it recovers the entire floor area a standing rack was eating, which is usually the whole reason people call.
The Bracket Is the Whole Job
A cloth hanger carries its heaviest load exactly when someone is standing under it. The failure is never the rod — it is a bracket fixed into a false ceiling, into plaster, or with a plug too short for the slab. We check what we are drilling into before we drill, use fixings matched to that surface, and load-test the pulley run with weight on it before handover.
Why our ceiling cloth hangers hold up
We look at the ceiling before we quote. An RCC slab, a false ceiling and a filler-slab roof each need a different fixing, and a bracket that pulls out under a wet load is both a ruined installation and something falling on somebody. Getting that right is most of the job; the rods themselves are the easy part.

Questions we get
Six rods or eight?
Eight if you dry a full machine load at once or the balcony is wide; six on a narrow balcony where eight would overhang. We will recommend one when we measure the ceiling.
Can it go on a false ceiling?
Not into the false ceiling itself — the fixing has to reach solid slab above it. That is doable in most cases, but it needs checking on site before we quote.
How much weight will it take?
A full wet machine load across the rods, and we load-test it before handover. If you routinely dry blankets or curtains, say so and we will specify accordingly.
Is the pulley hard to operate?
No — it is a rope run to a wall cleat, light enough for one hand even loaded, which is the point of the pulley rather than a fixed rack.
