Sreshta builds sports nets throughout Vijayawada and across the Krishna — box turf venues around Poranki, Kanuru and Tadepalli, academy and school nets in the city, and terrace bays in Patamata and Gunadala.
What Vijayawada changes about the job
The same crew and the same specification, adjusted for what this city actually does to the material.
The Vijayawada complication is heat, and it is a real one: playing surfaces and netting both take 45°C afternoons, and venues here run their heaviest bookings in the evening because of it. That concentrates use into a few hours and makes lighting-frame integration part of the job more often than elsewhere. UV degradation on the mesh is also faster in this city than anywhere else we work, which is why we specify treated netting even on setups that only see weekend use.
Vijayawada is the hottest of the five by a wide margin — 45°C through May is routine, and the rock of the Indrakeeladri holds that heat into the night. That is a UV and thermal-cycling problem rather than a salt one: untreated rope and cheap polymer fittings go brittle here in a way they simply do not in Vizianagaram.
Building stock here
Dense commercial-residential mid-rise through Governorpet, Labbipet and Benz Circle, and fast apartment growth across the Krishna into Tadepalli and Mangalagiri and out through Poranki and Kanuru. Compact balconies on tight plots are the norm, which is why ceiling cloth hangers are a bigger share of our Vijayawada work than anywhere else.
Why our sports nets hold up
We size the frame to how the space will actually be used, not to the drawing. A terrace bay a family uses at weekends and a turf venue running twelve hours a day need different pole spacing and different footings, and pretending otherwise is why cheaply framed enclosures start leaning inside a season.

Installed and cleaned up Our team sets and plumbs the poles or base plates, builds out the frame, then tensions impact-rated netting across the sides and — on an enclosed setup — the roof, load-checking every anchor.
Questions we get in Vijayawada
Can the frame carry floodlights as well as netting?
It can, but it has to be designed for it — lights add weight and wind area at the top of the pole, which is the worst place for both. In Vijayawada most evening-use venues want them, so tell us at the quoting stage and we will size the frame once rather than reinforce it later.
Which parts of Vijayawada do you cover?
Vijayawada is covered across both banks — Benz Circle, Labbipet and Patamata on the city side, and Tadepalli, Mangalagiri and Poranki across the Krishna. No travel charge within the city.
Can a practice net go on a terrace, or does it need open ground?
A terrace works. We use base plates rather than excavated footings where the slab cannot be broken into, and we check the parapet and the slab edge before quoting.
What is the difference between a practice net and a box cricket setup?
A practice bay is open or three-sided. Box cricket is fully enclosed including overhead, which loads the frame far harder — so it is a heavier structure, not just more netting.
How is the mesh different from a safety net?
Much heavier gauge and a different weave. Safety netting is specified against a fall; sports netting is specified against a hard ball hitting the same panel thousands of times.
Does it need taking down before a cyclone warning?
For a severe warning on an exposed site, yes — netting is a large sail area. We will tell you at handover whether your installation is one that should be dropped, and how to do it.
